Sunday Afternoon in Upper Manhattan & along the Hudson Near the Great Gray Bridge
I hadn’t pedaled up to the Great Gray Bridge for a couple months, and today turned out to be an ideal day for it. Blue sky, puffy clouds, abundant sunshine. Perfect.
- This upper Manhattan brick house would fit in in New England.
- In the center, highest building near 158th St & Riverside Drive. Man, those apartments facing the intersection must get a ton of great light!
- Upper Manhattan has many oddly angled intersections, like this one near 158th & Riverside Drive.
- A named apartment building at 800 Riverside, the Grinnell. A really solid looking building., with the look of comfortable apartments.
- The Great Gray Bridge from about 165th St at Hudson Beach.
- Low tide reveals rocks leading to the eastern arch of the Great Gray Bridge.
- Looking south from Hudson Beach.

- Low tide yields a great beach view.
- Bike, book, and a reasonable seat.
