In Repub Primary Mitt Said Disaster Funding Should Be Sent Back to the States & Private Sector

During the Republican primary Mitt Romney made clear that favors de-funding FEMA and allowing states and the private sector to handle all disaster relief. This is a very telling video clip. H/T publishing friend Jill Ripley Hughes for sharing this clip tonight.

Romney is a scary man with no empathy for fellow Americans. It is absolutely frighthening to think he would dismantle FEMA after the major overhaul the agency has gone thru. They finally get it right and he wants to dissolve it.Ridiculous, this man is not fit to hold the highest office of the land.

Glad you found this video and watched it on my blog. It really is a shocking minute of tape. I mean, I know how little he cares about ordinary people, but his disdain for an agency that has, under DEMs, been very well run is disturbing, to me too.
